Dr Philippa Ramsay

MBBS FRANZCOG DDU COGU

Dr Philippa Ramsay is an obstetrician and gynaecologist who has sub-specialised in Obstetric and Gynaecological Ultrasound and Prenatal Diagnosis since 1990.

She has a VMO appointment at Royal Prince Alfred Hospital and is a Lecturer in the Department of Obstetrics and Gynaecology at Sydney University. She is an examiner in Ultrasound for the Ultrasound sub-specialty of the Royal Australian and New Zealand College of Obstetrics and Gynaecology.

 

Dr Ramsay has written several book chapters on Obstetric and Gynaecological Ultrasound. Dr Ramsay’s research interests include Tubal Patency studies with hystero-contrast sonography. She also has special interest in prenatal diagnosis, chorionic villus sampling, and nuchal screening.

She is a member of the Australian Association of Obstetric and Gynaecological Ultrasonologists, the American Institute of Ultrasound in Medicine and the Perinatal Society of Australia and New Zealand.

 Kylie Agland

Kylie has 21 years of experience exclusively as a health industry lawyer. Her primary expertise is medical defence litigation.

Kylie specialises in Supreme Court litigation involving major claims. She has expertise in cases involving obstetric management, cancer, infectious diseases and neurological injury. She also assists medical practitioners dealing with complaints and coronial inquests.

Kylie has published numerous articles for the Health Business journal and also for the Australian Health Law Bulletin. She has also been invited to speak at medical negligence and medico-legal seminars.

Kylie has been named in Best Lawyers™ Australia for Medical Negligence.
