Addressing the theme, ‘Driving Me Crazy: the Impact of Impairment’, the MLSQ 2019 Annual Conference will be held at the Surfers Paradise Marriott Resort, 16-17 August 2019.
Commences Friday 16 August 5pm Registration open and Welcome Buffet Dinner from 6.30pm; Registration reopens 7.45am Saturday 17 August for the Conference and concludes at 4pm, with the Conference Dinner at 7pm.
The conference program will explore medical and legal issues associated with the management and monitoring of impairment in the context of driver licensing. Invited speakers will consider how both cognitive and functional capacity can and should be measured; what are the risks; what tests should be applied; and what are the consequences when hard decisions are not made.
