Kate Gillman – Head of Medico-Legal Advisory Service, Avant.  In this role Kate helps co-ordinate the 24 hour medico-legal advisory service for Avant’s 65,000 members Australia wide. Kate has over 20 years experience as a solicitor and barrister representing and advising healthcare practitioners and hospitals in Australia, England and Singapore.  This work has covered public, private and government sectors.

Professor Brian K Owler is a Sydney based neurosurgeon and a past president of the Federal AMA and AMA NSW. He was Chair of the Victorian MAP on Voluntary Assisted Dying which resulted in the successful passage of the Victorian legislation. He is also a director of Go Gentle Australia

Scientific Meeting: UUSC Ground Level Dangar Room. Complimentary to members and guests – bookings essential. If you are only attending the meeting, please still RSVP for seating requirements and so we may prepare the Attendance Register and provide adequate seating.

Dinner: UUSC Level 1 Members Dining Room. Includes 3-course set menu & beverages $97.50 for members; $115.00 for guests & non-members. Please advise any special dietary requirements.
