  Badgery-Parker\, Menzies Centre for Health Policy\, University of Sydney.
  Tim Badgery-Parker is a Research Fellow in the Menzies Centre for Health 
 Policy at the University of Sydney. He recently completed his PhD on measu
 ring low-value care\, working with the NSW Ministry of Health and the Capi
 tal Markets CRC.\nTaking recommendations from Choosing Wisely and similar 
 sources\, Tim developed indicators of low-value care based on hospital adm
 issions data and used them to examine the prevalence and trends in use of 
 low-value procedures in NSW public hospitals. He is currently interested i
 n exploring the consequences of low-value care for both patients and the h
 ealth system. Before starting his PhD\, Tim completed a Master of Biostati
 stics through the NSW Health Biostatistical Officer Training Program\, and
  then worked as a Biostatistics Research Officer in the Surgical Outcomes 
 Research Centre (SOuRCe) at Royal Prince Alfred Hospital\, and the Cancer 
 Epidemiology and Services Research group (CESR) in the Sydney School of Pu
