 tephen Walmsley SC practised at the Bar for 20 years before becoming a jud
 ge in 2001. When he was at the Bar he practised in most areas\, specialisi
 ng in medical liability.\n\nHe served on the NSW District Court from 2001 
 to 2013. He is currently an acting judge of the Supreme Court of the ACT.\
 n\nHe is the author of the recently published The Trials of Justice Murphy
  (LexisNexis\, 2017) and is a joint author of Professional liability in Au
 stralia (Thomson Reuters\, 3rd ed 2015).[/vc_column_text][/vc_column][/vc_

 c_column width="3/4"][vc_column_text]The Hon Geoff Gallop AC was Premier o
 f Western Australia from 2001 until 2006. With a ministerial career in the
  Lawrence Labor Government from 1990 to 1993 Geoff Gallop held a range of 
 portfolios – most notably Education\, Fuel and Energy and Minister Assis
 ting the Treasurer. In 1994 he was elected Deputy Leader of the State Parl
 iamentary Labor Party and in 1996 he was elected Leader.\n\nGeoff was the 
 Director of the Graduate School of Government at the University of Sydney 
 from 2006 and 2015\, after which he became Emeritus Professor. He was appo
 inted to a number of government boards during this time\, most notably the
  COAG Reform Council (Deputy Chair 2007- 2011)\, the Australia Awards Boar
 d (Chair 2011-2013) and the National Health and Hospitals Reform Commissio
 n (2008-2009).\n\nIn 2008 Geoff became a Companion of the Order of Austral

 Dr Ingrid van Beek AM is a public health and addiction medicine physician 
 who has been working at the sharp end of harm reduction for the last 30 ye
 ars.\n\nIngrid was the Director of the Kirketon Road Centre from 1989 unti
 l April\, 2017. Located in Sydney’s Kings Cross\, KRC is among the world
 ’s most integrated targeted primary health care services for ‘at risk
 ’ young people\, sex workers and people who inject drugs. She was also t
 he founding Medical Director of the Australia’s first Medically Supervis
 ed Injecting Centre from 2000 until 2008.\n\nIngrid was awarded a Doctor i
 n Medicine (MD) in 2010 in recognition of her body of published scholarly 
 work in the international field of Harm Reduction\, and is a Conjoint Prof
 essor at UNSW Sydney’s Kirby Institute for Infection and Immunity.\n\nIn
 grid’s contribution to improving the health of socially marginalised pop
 ulations was recognised in 2010 when she was awarded Membership of the Ord
